Halen Bucket Inserts by Joel Halen

These quartz inserts are made for Joel Halen’s design the “Halen Bucket” They come in the two sizes to match the Halen Buckets: 25mm and 32mm.  These inserts act as a thermal wall that absorb heat through the Halen Bucket itself. The best way to use one of these inserts is to load it before-hand then drop it in the bucket after you’ve heated it up. The walls of the insert do not reach the high temperature of the heated nail itself.  Instead, the insert reaches a nominal temperature and stays constant for an elongate period of time.
